the concept

So you've made the decision to build a web site. That's good. The Internet is the smartest way to advertise and do business with your customers. But doing it wrong can have a real impact on your business. So where do you begin?

Calling or emailing electric bricks is a good first step. We'll be happy to meet with you to discuss all of your individual needs and explain what options you should consider. Don't worry, we won't try to impress you with a lot of fancy buzz-words, we'll talk to you in plain English. We know your time is valuable and getting on with what you do best is what's really important.

Here are some things to consider when planning a web site:

  • What size do you anticipate your web site to be?
While we don't really charge based on the size of a site it may have an impact on the technology we use to build your home on the Internet.

  • What kind of customer interaction do you need?
Will your site be purely informational? Do you need a blog or forum to communicate with your customers? Are you planning to sell products on your site?

  • How often will you need to update the content on your site?
Do you plan on changing it every day (or several times a day) or once the site is written do you think it'll stay that way for a long time?

  • Does your company already have an identity?
Do you have an established look and feel that customers associate with you? Is there a color palette you like? Do you have a standardized logo?
